Visitors can walk all the way across the top of the dam. On one side you'll look down 325 feet to the Shoshone River. The other side is a closeup look at the Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Beautiful views!
Inside our Visitor Center, you can watch a movie in our mini theater about the building of Buffalo Bill's Dam and how it provides water and power to the local farmers and residents of Cody. Runs every 15 minutes and is free.

Volunteer with your neighbors and friends. Our center is staffed with 30-35 volunteers every season. Schedules are flexible and volunteering at the center is FUN!
The third Saturday of every August is a day dedicted to Buffalo Bill's Dam.
